Opening reception: Fri, Sept 17, 7-9pm

Do you work or have knowledge in homelessness, green or affordable housing? We want to know! As part of the upcoming Shelter exhibition at Touchstones Nelson, we would like to recognize individuals or community groups with experience in these areas, and help connect them with other members of the community.

Each person will be:

* invited to the opening reception, as well as other events associated with Shelter
* provided with a personalized “conversation tag” with a 1-2 word description of their area of knowledge (eg. ask me about Affordable Housing)

The idea is to provide a fun, low pressure opportunity (no public speaking!) that encourages discussion with and between valued members of our community.

To register,  please check out the “registration” tab on this site, or  send an email to rod@touchstonesnelson.ca if you have any questions.

If the above doesn’t apply to you, but you would like to receive an email invitation to the opening, we’d like to hear from you too! You can sign up here to receive invitations to to the opening reception, as well as other events associated with Shelter.

Remember, the opening reception for this (and all) Touchstones Nelson exhibitions is open to the public, and is absolutely FREE to attend (although donations are gladly accepted)! Please pass the word, and come show your support for this exciting and engaging community event!
